Pink Shirt Day by Prachi
Today is Pink Shirt Day. The idea was created by 2 children that gave away 50 pink shirts at their school after the new boy was bullied for wearing a pink shirt on his first day. We had our class assembly last week and the theme was about Pink Shirt Day with a story about Dragons trying to find some friends but having a difficult time. In the end it’s a happy ending. As well as being pink shirt day, it is also Anti-bullying week! Here is some photos of Room 11 children wearing pink clothing to show our support for anti-bullying.
